Helping you navigate through difficult feelings, deal with emotional overwhelm, optimize your emotional well-being and increase your capacity to deal with challenging situations...

Emotional pain is just as real as physical pain and experiencing uncomfortable emotions can be stressful and confusing. At times it may impede one’s capacity to deal with challenging situations and respond to life’s demands. This in turn may produce a sense of loosing control over one’s life and struggling to keep things together.

It probably is safe to say that almost everyone goes through a crisis like this at some point in their life.

It can take different forms and bring up a whole range of emotions such as:

  • frustration
  • anger
  • fear
  • distress
  • anxiety
  • panic
  • worry
  • resentment
  • hurt
  • shame
  • guilt
  • low self-worth
  • sadness
  • and a myriad of others

Due to an unexpected nature of crisis, we may find ourselves unprepared for an upheaval it produces.

Under stress and duress, human nervous system may be overwhelmed and get stuck in anxiety-filled over-activation. Alternatively, it may attempt to shut itself down to numb the pain and make us feel like we are in a very dark place, overcome with the sense of loneliness, helplessness and hopelessness.

These emotional states are difficult to deal with. However, the good news is that the nervous system is endowed with capacity to bounce back from stressful events.

At EnergySphere we collaborate with you on helping your body and nervous system rebound from overwhelm and find its way back to the state of safety and emotional balance.

We work with people who are:

  • faced with emotional overwhelm
  • dealing with anxiety and depressed mood
  • experiencing acute or chronic stress
  • working through past hurt and trauma
  • looking to increase emotional resilience
  • willing to better understand themselves and their feelings
  • searching for ways to support their emotional health and well-being

We offer you emotional support, professional knowledge, strategies, tools and techniques to help you achieve your goals and desired state of emotional balance.

We use supportive counselling, mindfulness,  insight-oriented talk therapies (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, reality therapy, and person-centered therapy), and body-oriented therapies including Somatic Experiencing, BodyTalk and TRE (Trauma and Tension Releasing Exercises).

bodytalk

BodyTalk is a safe and non-invasive holistic health treatment, which draws on the body’s natural ability to heal itself. It’s based on a principle that in a healthy body every part is in constant communication with every other part. The common stresses of life tend to break down this communication, causing illness and injury. BodyTalk helps to restore the natural balanced communication in the body, which can then heal itself.

TRE®: tension and trauma releasing exercises

TRE® stands for Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises. This method recognizes that, apart from being a psychological phenomenon, stress has a certain physical effect and forms patters on tension within the body.
